2. picking and cleaning: picking is carried out using a roller picker. Sodium hydroxide and disinfectant are added to the cleaning process, which is carried out by soaking, rotating cleaning roller brushes, and spraying with chlorinated water, and finally rinsed clean with water.
3. De-oiling: The cleaned fruits are removed from the fruit oil through the needle-pricked de-oiling machine, and then the sweet orange oil is separated through the disc centrifugal separator, and the separated residual liquid is recycled for use.
4. Juicing: Brown-type juicer is used to avoid peel oil, white skin layer and sacco from mixing into the juice, preventing increased bitterness and heating odour.
5. Refinement: using a pulper or other equipment to remove the larger pulp particles in the raw sweet orange juice.
6. Degassing and homogenisation: High pressure homogeniser to break up suspended particles and improve taste; degassing to prevent oxidation of the juice and consequent loss of colour, flavour and vitamin C in the drink.
7. Sterilisation and aseptic filling: High temperature sterilisation or pasteurisation through tube-in-tube heat exchanger, followed by filling through aseptic filling machine.
