Customer challenge

The customer needed a dedicated concentration section for a pear paste project. Shanghai Chase's confirmed supply scope covered the concentration section and evaporator rather than the full factory line.

The evaporator had to suit the incoming product, the target concentration and the utilities available on site. It also had to connect cleanly with equipment already planned around it.

Engineering response

Shanghai Chase treated the evaporator as a production section rather than an isolated vessel. The review covered the feed and target conditions, vacuum duty, steam and cooling demand, electrical supply, cleaning access and operator access.

The team also defined the upstream and downstream interfaces so the customer could integrate the section into the wider pear paste operation without leaving critical connections unresolved.

Project outcome

The concentration section was delivered for integration into the pear paste operation. The project record reports installation, commissioning and production start-up.

The public 5 T/H description belongs to the overall project design. Sizing for another plant must start from feed solids, target solids, evaporation load, operating hours and available utilities.
