One line for grapes, pineapples and tropical berries, designed around shared functions, fruit-specific preparation and practical product changeovers.

Customer challenge
The customer wanted to use one investment across several harvest seasons. Grapes, pineapples and berries differ in surface condition, seeds, skin, pulp structure and viscosity, so a single fixed route would create avoidable losses and difficult changeovers.
The production plan also required operators to switch fruits without rebuilding the plant between campaigns.
Engineering response
Shanghai Chase separated shared functions from fruit-specific preparation. Common equipment was used only where the raw materials had compatible needs, while dedicated modules handled duties such as stem removal or surface preparation.
The line layout also considered hygienic changeover, operator access, product routing and downstream interfaces. This gave the customer flexibility without treating unlike fruits as though they were the same.
Project outcome
The project record states that installation and commissioning were completed and production started in July 2026.
The 5 T/H figure is the project design basis. Actual throughput varies with the fruit, its condition and the target product.
Points that shaped the solution
- The confirmed fruit list matters more than a broad label such as mixed fruit.
- Shared equipment must be checked against cleaning and changeover requirements.
- Fruit-specific modules protect yield and operability where raw materials differ.
- Packaging and the target product influence the upstream equipment duty.
