Aseptic bag types
The aseptic fillers use pre-sterilized aseptic bags. The bag holds the product; the box, drum or bin supports the bag during handling and transport. Bag size, spout design and container support must match the selected filling configuration.

Equipment features and configuration
Steam-protected filling chamber: The bag spout sits inside the filling chamber during filling, where steam provides protection.
Bag positioning and interlocks: The spout is positioned and clamped before filling. An interlock prevents filling when it is not correctly in place.
Alternating heads: Double-head models alternate between filling heads to reduce product recirculation during bag changes.
Condensate drainage: A dedicated drainage structure removes condensate from the filling chamber.
Coordinated cleaning and sterilization: CIP/SIP sequences can be coordinated with the upstream sterilizer. Product feed and filling start only after the required startup conditions are met.

Can the aseptic fillers fill bottles or cans?
No. The aseptic fillers fill aseptic bags. A drum or bin supports the bag; the product is not filled directly into the outer container.
Can the same filler use different aseptic bags?
Compatibility depends on the bag size, spout and machine configuration. A matching filling head and bag support are needed for the selected packaging.
Does the filler sterilize the product?
Product sterilization takes place upstream. Steam protection in the filling chamber and CIP/SIP serve different purposes from the heat treatment of the product.
