Fruit Processing Lines

Turnkey fruit processing

Fruit processing lines for juice, puree, concentrate and packaged products

Shanghai Chase designs and manufactures industrial fruit processing lines for coconut, tomato, mango and other stone fruits, and apple and pear. A complete project may include raw-material receiving, preparation, extraction or pulping, separation, concentration, thermal processing, aseptic filling, retail packaging, cleaning systems and line control.

There is no universal fruit processing line. Equipment selection changes with the raw material, finished-product specification, capacity basis, packaging, storage target, workshop layout and available utilities. Start with the relevant fruit category below, then confirm the product route and project inputs before comparing equipment.

Choose by raw material and finished product

Each category page explains its available products, process branches, equipment groups, selection conditions and project examples.

Coconut processing line for coconut water production

Coconut processing lines

For coconut water, coconut milk and cream, desiccated coconut and coconut oil. The route depends on coconut maturity, incoming form, product specification and packaging.

Mango and stone fruit washing and processing line

Mango & stone fruit lines

For mango, peach, apricot and plum puree, pulp, juice, jam base or concentrate. Fruit maturity, stone removal, fibre, particle size and aseptic storage are key decisions.

What must be confirmed before line design

These six inputs determine the process route, equipment scope, layout and proposal basis. The same fruit may require a different line when the finished product or package changes.

01

Raw material

Confirm the fruit type, variety, maturity, harvest condition, incoming form and expected raw-material quality range.

02

Finished product

Define whether the product is clear or cloudy juice, NFC, puree, pulp, paste, concentrate, sauce, oil or a combined product portfolio.

03

Capacity basis

State whether capacity refers to incoming fruit, extracted liquid, pulp or finished product, together with operating hours and seasonal availability.

04

Product specification

Confirm clarity, pulp or fibre, particle size, soluble solids, viscosity, acidity and other product-specific quality requirements.

05

Packaging and storage

Identify aseptic bulk, bag-in-box, bottle, can, cold-chain or other packages, plus target shelf life and storage conditions.

06

Site and utilities

Provide workshop dimensions, material flow, water, electricity, steam, cooling, compressed air, drainage and applicable project standards.

How a fruit processing line is structured

The stages below are an editable project map, not a universal recipe. Individual fruits and finished products may skip, replace or add operations.

01

Receiving & preparation

Receiving, inspection, washing, sorting and fruit-specific preparation.

02

Extraction or pulping

Crushing, pressing, extraction, destoning, pulping or refining as required.

03

Separation & conditioning

Screening, clarification, filtration, deaeration, blending or product adjustment.

04

Concentration or formulation

Optional concentration, formulation, homogenization or product-standardization steps.

05

Thermal processing

A validated pasteurization, sterilization or other product-specific thermal route.

06

Filling, packing & storage

Aseptic bulk, retail or cold-chain filling, followed by handling and storage.

Main equipment and integration modules

A project scope can cover one process section or an integrated line. Shared equipment must still be checked against product compatibility, hygiene zoning, cleaning, changeover and production scheduling.

Raw-material preparation

Receiving, conveying, washing, sorting, trimming and fruit-specific preparation equipment.

Extraction, pressing and pulping

Crushers, presses, extractors, destoners, pulpers and refiners selected for the material and output.

Separation and product conditioning

Screens, separators, filters, clarification, deaeration, blending and buffer systems where required.

Concentration and thermal processing

Evaporation, pasteurization or sterilization selected and validated for the actual product and package.

Filling and packaging

Aseptic bag, bag-in-box, bottle, can and other filling or secondary-packaging systems.

CIP, utilities and control

Cleaning systems, tanks, pumps, piping, controls and utility interfaces required for integrated operation.

Frequently asked questions

Which fruits and finished products can the line cover?

Shanghai Chase develops fruit-specific solutions for coconut, tomato, mango and other stone fruits, and apple and pear. Depending on the material and configuration, the finished product may be juice, NFC juice, puree, pulp, paste, concentrate, sauce, oil or another packaged product.

Can one processing line handle more than one fruit?

This can be evaluated when the fruits have compatible preparation, extraction, thermal and filling requirements. Changeover, cleaning, allergen or cross-contamination risks, product specifications and production scheduling must be checked before equipment is shared.

How should processing capacity be defined?

Specify whether the figure refers to incoming fresh fruit, extracted juice, pulp or finished-product output. Also provide operating hours, harvest-season length, product mix and expected raw-material variation.

What determines whether a plant makes NFC juice, puree or concentrate?

The choice depends on the target market, product specification, package size, storage and logistics model, raw-material season, downstream use and investment scope. These decisions change extraction, separation, concentration, thermal processing and filling requirements.

What information is required for an initial proposal?

Provide the fruit type and incoming condition, finished products, capacity basis, product specification, packaging, target shelf life, workshop dimensions, available utilities, existing equipment and project location.
